GOOD tidings will be forgotten in Walford tomorrow, as a Christmas Day
Kat-fight erupts.
In keeping with Albert Square tradition, a furious Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace)
attacks her former lover Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman).
Sparks fly when Kat confronts Derek, blaming him for ruining any chance of a
reconciliation with husband Alfie (Shane Richie). After Derek rubbed Alfie’s
nose in it over Kat’s affair in an earlier showdown at the Queen Vic, she
lashes out at the gangster.
A smarting Derek then squares up to brother Max (Jake Wood), threatening to
expose his dark secret and spoil his second wedding to ex-wife Tanya Cross
(Jo Joyner).
Actor Jake said: “We’ve spent the best part of a year keeping people guessing
about the secret. When we started filming, other cast members were in shock.
If that’s how people who work on the show reacted, it will hopefully have
the same impact on viewers at home.”
It airs tomorrow at 8.45pm on BBC1.
